Where is the venue?

Where can I park?

The nearest place to park is the hotel’s own car park which has 240 spaces at a first come first served basis which cost £15 for 12 hours.There are more spaces in the O2 non-event car parks 2, 3 and 4. You do not have to pre-book, the cost is £12 for 9-12 hours. It will take about 5 minutes to walk to the venue from this car park. O2 car park address: Edmund Halley Way, London SE10 0BN. Pay machines accept both cash and all major bank cards Disabled access parking is available for Blue Badge holders at both car parks.

Where is the nearest tube station?

The nearest tube station is North Greenwich Station which is approximately an 8 minute walk down Waterview Dr.

What time will it start?

The conference will begin at 10 am sharp, please arrive by 9am to allow enough time for registration and seating.

What time will it end?

The conference is scheduled to finish at 20:00

What do I need for registration on the day?

For tickets purchased online please bring ID to correspond with the booking.
All Eventbrite ticket holders must have their ticket available for registration.
If you have purchased an IlmFest paper ticket you must bring it with you to register.

Once you have registered you will be given a wristband to wear, please keep this on for the entire day as this will allow you to re-enter whenever you leave the venue during breaks etc.
If you lose your wristband, you will need to purchase a replacement for £1.

Can I purchase a ticket at the door?

Tickets may be purchased at the door depending on availability and will be at the full price of £25. We recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.

Are children free?

Kids under the age of 9 can enter free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Will there be a family seating area?

Yes there will be, please ask one of the volunteers.

Is there anywhere to eat on site?

The hotel is connected to the O2 Arena where you can go and eat at any of the numerous food outlets. Click here to see what’s available.

All IlmFest attendees will be given a 20% discount at Jimmy’s World Grill simply show your wristband to the staff.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Food and drink bought from outside is not permitted by the venue; however the hotel will be selling tea and coffee. AlMaghrib will also be running a tuck shop selling confectionery and snacks all day.

Should I bring any extra money?

One of the great things about IlmFest is all the Islamic market stalls that will be there that you can browse throughout the day. It would be a good idea to bring some spending money.

Is there a cash machine at the venue?

Yes there is a free cash machine at the hotel’s reception on the ground floor. There is also a cash machine located at the North Greenwich Station.

Will there be prayer facilities?

Yes there will be an area for congregational prayer.

Will the event be televised?

No, the event will not be televised.

Will recording be permitted?

It is against AlMaghrib’s policy for attendees to record any of our seminars or conferences. However we may upload official recordings at a later date.

What if I can't attend the whole day?

We encourage everyone to attend for a full day of beneficial knowledge featuring all-star calibre speakers who will provide you with an unforgettable experience. However please note if you are unable to attend the full day your ticket is not transferable to anyone else.

Will there be facilities for those with disabilities?

Intercontinental London – The O2 caters for disabilities, there are lifts and disabled toilets all over the venue. In the O2 car park there are disabled accessible bays for Blue Badge holders. If you have any specific needs please email us.

Can I reserve my seat?

Most seats are on a first come first served basis, so we recommend arriving early to choose where you want to sit. There will be a small section of reserved seating for the speakers and VIP guest.
